A scope for your pictures
Think use.
Then pixels.
Scan size and colour correction are different decisions. We help you agree both before developing and scanning goes ahead.
Sharing online
A modest JPEG scope can suit web sharing. Tell us if you also expect prints or heavy crops, so we do not plan only for today's post.
Prints & cropping
Favor a larger file scope for prints and cropping. Cropping discards pixels; enlarging a small file does not recover missing detail. State your intended print size and how much you crop.
Portfolio & editing
Discuss larger files, file format, colour and exposure preferences. More pixels do not specify custom correction. Tell us whether you want ready-to-share colour or plan to edit.
Illustrative crop only, not a processed sample. A smaller portion of a frame has fewer original pixels to work with.
Already know the specification? Give the minimum pixel dimensions, format and correction preference. We carry your exact wording into the proposal, rather than substituting a named scan tier.
